Game, set and match!
While the 'white sport' of tennis was masively popular in the 1980s, many companies tried to come out with some sort of tennis-themed products.
People wore tennis socks, tennis sneakers, tennis wristbands, the upper class went to tennis clubs on weekends, and Peugeot?
Peugeot came out with a special bicycle.
This bicycle is the Peugeot Tennis Club, a model that was built in 1988 for a limited time. It is based on a sports frameset with internally soldered seams, which leaves super smooth outside joints.
The equipment is very much the same you could have found on their racing bicycles, with one exception. All the parts are white. And it came with a racket holder mounted to the fork.
Today, in the era of a white sneaker revival, this bicycle fits perfectly in. You could ride to the lake on a lush spring weekend or to snack some strawberries at Wimbledon.
A bike with a fantastic and unique retro style.
