A reinterpretation of a cult classic in the 80’s, the Nike Air Vortex shoes have been hugely popular since their re-release. Created from a blend of premium materials, the suede toe cap is dyed in a rich indigo which connects to the eyelets which take on a waved design inspired by the Internationalist which released several years before these originally. Equally the toe vamp is made from a similar indigo mesh. The side panel is constructed out of a nylon mesh which features a subtle grid texture, dyed in a wolf grey and layered under a light cream suede swoosh which loops around to the heel tab. This is finished with a silver Nike Air logo. The shoe’s retro colour palette is brought together on a crisp white midsole, with a rubber gum outsole.

Despite it’s design being rooted in the 80’s it features updated functionality; with an encapsulated Nike Air unit within the midsole providing cushioning around the heel, a lightweight phylon midsole wrapped over a waffle outsole which provides traction and durability. Furthermore the non-restrictive low-cut design combined with purposeful flex grooves, which mirror your gait, ensure natural comfort even in heavy wear.

Over 30 years since becoming a track giant, the Vortex now features a perfect balance of casual street class through its rich blue colouring with a clean low-cut design making it easily pairable with a variety of styles.
